JANANI Arts Club and Library, the cultural centre of Mudavanmukal, has completed 50 years of successful existence. With multifaceted development of the locality to its credit, the club celebrated its golden jubilee from May 7 to 9, 2010. As part of the celebrations Janani chalked out many programmes like honouring the senior members of the club, releasing a souvenir, launching this blog, taking out a cultural procession, holding public meetings, organizing poets’ conference and staging variety entertainment shows.
